Volunteer Information

Please arrive promptly at your designated time below to Union Ballroom 333 (1155 Union Cir, Denton, TX 76203) wearing all black clothing.

Everyone must check-in upon arriving on the day of the show to receive your 2017 ID badge. You must wear your ID badge at all times, as it is your access to all backstage areas. Please understand that the backstage areas are for authorized personnel only. Do not bring family or friends backstage.

Please note that a light lunch will be provided on the day of the show. There will most likely be a lot of down time. Once complete with your duties and responsibilities, we ask that you bring study materials to prepare for your exams, or something to work on between tasks, as you will not be permitted to leave.

Producers Assistants: Please arrive at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 5th to Welch Street Complex 1 Room 149 & 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 6th to the Union wearing all black clothing. You will be responsible for assisting the producer of the show. This involves all processes from dressing to model run-throughs. You will also be responsible for all check-ins.

Friday Night Backstage Set-up Crew: Please arrive promptly at 6:00 PM Friday, May 5th to check-in at the Union. You will be responsible for the setup of rolling racks, organization of clothing, program folding, and badge construction.

Day Backstage Set-up Crew: Please arrive promptly at 9:00 AM on Saturday, May 6th at the Union. You will be responsible for making sure that setup is going as planned (lights, chairs, etc.) You will also be responsible for placing the programs on all seating, reserving the reserved sections, etc.

Ushers/ Ticket Crew: Please arrive promptly at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 6th at the Union. You will be spread throughout the Union assisting guests to the ballroom. You will also be assisting guests to their seats as well as checking tickets to make sure everyone has purchased a ticket to the event.

After Show Cleanup: Please arrive promptly at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 6th at the Union. Once the show is complete, it will be your responsibility to break down the setup of the room. You will also be responsible for the transportation of all rolling racks, walls, etc. back to Welch Street Complex. The yard signs that were also placed around campus to advertise the show will also need to be collected and brought back to the fashion building; make sure to have map of the location of the sign and total amount signs in hand before returning to Welch.

Dresser Information 2017

Please arrive at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 6th to Union Ballroom 333 (1155 Union Cir, Denton, Texas, 76203) wearing all black clothing.

Everyone must check in upon arriving on the day of the show. There is a possibility of there being a lot of down time. After completing your duties and responsibilities, please bring study materials to help prepare for your exams, or something to work on between task, as you will not be permitted to leave.

As a dresser, it is your responsibility to make sure that the model/models that you are assigned to are dressed and fitted to each of their designated looks. You are also responsible for knowing the closures (buttons, zippers, hook & eyes, elastic, etc.) for every garment. You must be able to dress/undress your assigned model/models in a timely manner.

Models will be assigned a dresser and a station within the backstage area. Models must stay with their dresser. Dressers must stay in their station at all times. As a dresser please keep your stations organized.

**Please handle the garments with the upmost care, and we ask that you respect each one as if it was your own.

**You MUST be in the backstage area by 5:00 PM and in your first looks by 5:15 PM in preparation for the show to start.
